The Pharisees are polished and they are proud of it.
They look down on you
for not being what they have worked so hard to attain.
I have been a Pharisee.
A whitewashed tomb.
2 Corinthians 1:9,10 We had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us;
in whom we trust that He will still deliver us.
“The spirit of debt in your life is of the Devil. For the debt you owed has been paid. I have given payment freely and called you to receive freely. I ask that you extend this same mercy to others. Anything you feel is owed to you is out of alignment with the truth. For your actions and nature were deserving of death. But I loved you and I willingly paid what you owed My Father. I want you to recognize Me as your Savior and to remember that you did not save yourself in your own strength. I am calling you to turn away from your ideas of entitlement and to begin to turn your eyes to Me the author and perfector of your faith. I want you to live out of the recognition of the grace that has been given to you. Remember the work of God is this: To believe in Me, the One He sent.” ~Jesus
