devotion Sept. 1, 2015

7-29 (1 of 2)

My survivor. My servant whom I have made strong. My broken one made whole.  I see you now, I feel your heart and how easily you are forgetting the intense yearning you had when you had no way. How the pain of your losses and destructions have eased. How you no longer fear starting over again.  You look around you and see the struggles of others and thank Me that you are not like them. You say “I now fast and give my tithe. I am alright.” You have taken care of your religion and feel entitled to my blessings. But I call you now into battle for your heart. I call you to remember My sufficient grace. I call you not to turn away from Me, the Living God, your Savior. I have MORE intended for you than your own comfort and healing. No eye has seen, no mind conceived what I have prepared for those who love Me. Return to Me and ask of Me, for I will guard your heart from the evil one, and even from your own complacency! Moving beyond broken is more than just being mended and made whole. For I have intended great purpose for your brokenness! I am calling you to set your eyes upon Me, your Creator and Sustainer, and get out of the boat and walk upon the water! ~God

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you don’t know.

1 Corinthians 2:12 We have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Ephesians 2:8,9 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is God’s gift – not from works, so that no one can boast.

Proverbs 4:23 Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.
