If you find yourself in a place of turmoil where there is no peace, cry to Me. In your mind, imagine your circumstances, and hurts, swirling around you. Look where your eyes are focused. Are you watching your circumstances swirl, trying to figure out how to stop them? Or are your eyes downcast, defeated? I want you to lift up your head; lift your eyes and your focus on Me. Your help comes from Me. I am the Maker of Heaven and Earth. Now in your mind, look again, where are your eyes focused? Your gaze is hope and faith. I respond quickly to hope and faith. I hear the cry of the righteous. Set your mind, your eyes, and your focus on things above, and let the peace which passes understanding guard your heart and mind in Me. Your spirit is joined with Mine, and by this Spirit you cry Abba, Father. You are to call no one on earth, father or teacher or master, for you have One Father who is in heaven, one teacher and master, My Spirit. You are no-longer a slave to sin; or bound to earth; or subjected to circumstances, for I am your God. ~
Prayer: Father, I lift up my eyes and look away from these circumstances that I see swirling around me, and look to You. You are My Help. As my gaze turns to You, I feel faith and hope welling up in me, strengthening me to persevere. I recognize You as Lord of my life and I enter into the secret place of union with You in my Spirit, for I know in this place, I can dwell in the peace that passes understanding and my life be guarded in You. Thank You for preserving my soul and setting me free. I choose this day to serve You, as You are my Father, my Teacher and my Master. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen
Psalm 121 I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper. The Lord I thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil; He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even forever more.
