6-5-13 (5 of 7)

Do you understand that I have chosen you? You did not choose Me, but I have chosen you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit. You have had it in your mind, that you decided to come to Me and desire to belong and that I allowed it. This is where your striving begins.  But that is entirely wrong. I created you, formed you for Myself. I sought after you when you were not aware of Me and opened your eyes to know the truth. I gave you the faith to believe.  As you come to understand this, you will enter My rest and begin to trust instead of try so hard to belong.  I appoint and promote and will place you where I intend you to be. The government rests on My shoulders and great is your peace. When I instruct you to get your house in order, I am asking you to recognize Me as Lord, and to cease moving and doing in an effort to earn the right to be included. Be still and know that I am Lord. Purify yourself from anything dishonorable, such as pride and competition, selfish ambition and scorn, and you will be a special instrument, set apart and useful to Me, prepared for every good work. ~God

2 Timothy 1:9 He saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Ephesians 1:4-6 For He chose us in Him, before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted through Jesus Christ for Himself, according to His favor and will, to the praise of His glorious peace that He favored us with in the Beloved.
