I don’t want you to live on things of the past. I want you to let go of the anger and bitterness you feel. I have provided a way of forgiveness for you in My cross. I know that you are angry and hurt because of neglect and abuse. I see the spirit of pride in you that says “I’ll show them!” I don’t want this spirit to direct your life. As long as you are motivated by the spirit of pride, you can’t live the life I died to give you.  This sprit causes you to question and wants you to define who you are. But your identity is from Me.  The spirit of pride and control will bend your back into a question mark. In your old age you head will be bowed and your eyes still watching your feet trying to figure out how to “show them”. I know the plans that I have for you; plans to give you a hope and a future, not to harm you. But in order to know My life for you, you must let go of the old one.  This begins with forgiveness and if you are willing I will show you the way. ~Jesus

Isaiah 43:18,19 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

Isaiah 44 :1-3 But now listen, Jacob, My servant, whom I have chosen. This is what the Lord says- He who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you: “Do not be afraid, my servant, whom I have chosen. For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground.”
