It is for freedom that you are free. I want you to be free to trust Me. I have made provision for you in every way. My grace is sufficient for you. You don’t have to strive to please Me. Striving to please Me has the opposite effect, because in your striving you reveal your unbelief in My Provision. Without faith it is impossible to please Me.  I have told you who you are to Me. Do you value your opinion of you more than Mine? Do you believe that I give you of My Spirit because of what you do? I give you My Spirit when you hear and believe in My Son’s death and resurrection. Today as you hear My voice, do not harden your heart, but enter My rest. Rest from your own works and be still and know Me.  You are My witness whom I have chosen to know and believe that I AM GOD. To the one who realizes and understands that he has then more will be given. But to the one who doesn’t have or believe Me, even what he does have will be taken from him.

Galatians 3:5 So then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law or by hearing with faith?

Hebrews  4:9 Therefore, a Sabbath rest remains for God’s people. For the person who has entered His rest has rested from his own works, just as God did from His.
