9-21 (2 of 2)

Your shield of faith is alive and empowered through your knowledge of My truths. I want you to know who I say you are. You are My child, My warrior, an extension of My life. I want you to know that nothing can separate you from Me. As you lift up these beliefs, you are protected from the fiery darts that surely come as you enter the battle for My Kingdom. I am training your hands for battle, teaching you to fight the good fight of faith. Your weapons are not angry hands striking, but your weapons are mighty in love and prayer and praise of Me. They pull down strongholds and accomplish much for My kingdom. Your battle is not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities and dark forces. It is these dark forces that move men to sin. And you have the ability from My Spirit within you to slay these forces and to claim what I have accomplished on your behalf through My death and resurrection. You are more than victorious through Me, more than a conqueror and through you I will diffuse a fragrance of the knowledge of Me in every place. I will preserve you coming in and going out from this day forth, until forever more.~

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, “He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

Psalm 47 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph, Sing praises to God, sing praises unto our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

bending tree (6 of 6)

You were created to belong to Me, to belong in My family. You have a need for this built into your framework. I will meet all your needs according to My riches in glory in My Son. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I know you are afraid because you have lost so many. You must walk by faith and trust Me. I will provide. I am your Father in Heaven who loves you the most. Look to Me and turn your eyes in faith, away from fear. Hold My hand by faith, knowing that I have plans to prosper you, to show you goodness and mercy, not to harm you.

Isaiah 51 :11 Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

6-5-13 (5 of 7)

Do you understand that I have chosen you? You did not choose Me, but I have chosen you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit. You have had it in your mind, that you decided to come to Me and desire to belong and that I allowed it. This is where your striving begins.  But that is entirely wrong. I created you, formed you for Myself. I sought after you when you were not aware of Me and opened your eyes to know the truth. I gave you the faith to believe.  As you come to understand this, you will enter My rest and begin to trust instead of try so hard to belong.  I appoint and promote and will place you where I intend you to be. The government rests on My shoulders and great is your peace. When I instruct you to get your house in order, I am asking you to recognize Me as Lord, and to cease moving and doing in an effort to earn the right to be included. Be still and know that I am Lord. Purify yourself from anything dishonorable, such as pride and competition, selfish ambition and scorn, and you will be a special instrument, set apart and useful to Me, prepared for every good work. ~God

2 Timothy 1:9 He saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Ephesians 1:4-6 For He chose us in Him, before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted through Jesus Christ for Himself, according to His favor and will, to the praise of His glorious peace that He favored us with in the Beloved.

As you move on, toward the upward call, I want you to be mindful of pressing through when you begin to feel the burn in your faith muscles. So many times you look for an escape, something to distract you from the burn, but the burn is necessary for you to grow. When you press through, you realize that it no longer hurts and you become strong and able to advance to the next level of glory. I have you on the path of life where there is fullness of joy. I am your escape. I am your ability to continue. Set your mind on the things above. Make it your goal to know Me and the power of My resurrection. Seek My glory; for I will supply all of your needs out of My riches in glory in Christ Jesus. The pain is passing and only lasts for a moment, but My Glory is forever. ~God

Philippians 3:10-11 My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, assuming that I will somehow reach the resurrection from among the dead.

Philippians 4:19  And my God will supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

devotion Nov 6

I dwell within you. I am in the center of your being. The place where we are united, I call the secret place. I want you to begin to live out of this place. I want you to look around your heart because sometimes your feelings feel through past hurts and mislead you. I don’t want you to dismiss your feelings because I have given them to you to alert you to things, but don’t make judgements based only on your feelings.  I want you to look beyond your mind, because My thoughts are higher and many things can not be understood especially when you wear glasses of expectation. Expectations you place on others tend to lead you to disappointment and cause you to sin. I am calling you to look through faith at My glory and begin to do the things you see Me doing. I will meet your needs through this glory and you will no longer need to look at people for what they can do for you. Instead, you will abound in good works, and serve Me by loving others as they are. ~Jesus

Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:22 And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19,20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

I have chosen you to know and believe that I am God; to witness that I am able; to taste and see that I am good. As you are made aware of My love for you, the things you have sought after will have little value to you.  Lean into Me instead of your insecurities and fears. Your insecurities and fears cause you to strive. In your striving you experience envy, jealousy and selfish ambition. These things breed pretentiousness and hurt those around you. I want you to trust Me instead. I have plans for you. You were chosen especially for good works. Good works that have already been prepared for you to do.  You are secure in Me. The doors I open no-one can close the doors I close no-one can open.  I have told you these things that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but take heart I have overcome the world. ~Jesus.

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.

Philippians 3:8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes through the law, but that which is through faith in Christ- the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.

devotion Oct 21, 2015

If you find yourself in a place of turmoil where there is no peace, cry to Me.  In your mind, imagine your circumstances, and hurts, swirling around you. Look where your eyes are focused. Are you watching your circumstances swirl, trying to figure out how to stop them? Or are your eyes downcast, defeated? I want you to lift up your head; lift your eyes and your focus on Me. Your help comes from Me. I am the Maker of Heaven and Earth. Now in your mind, look again, where are your eyes focused?  Your gaze is hope and faith. I respond quickly to hope and faith.  I hear the cry of the righteous. Set your mind, your eyes, and your focus on things above, and let the peace which passes understanding guard your heart and mind in Me. Your spirit is joined with Mine, and by this Spirit you cry Abba, Father. You are to call no one on earth, father or teacher or master, for you have One Father who is in heaven, one teacher and master, My Spirit. You are no-longer a slave to sin; or bound to earth; or subjected to circumstances, for I am your God. ~

Prayer: Father, I lift up my eyes and look away from these circumstances that I see swirling around me, and look to You. You are My Help. As my gaze turns to You, I feel faith and hope welling up in me, strengthening me to persevere.  I recognize You as Lord of my life and I enter into the secret place of union with You in my Spirit, for I know in this place, I can dwell in the peace that passes understanding and my life be guarded in You. Thank You for preserving my soul and setting me free. I choose this day to serve You, as You are my Father, my Teacher and my Master. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen

Psalm 121 I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper. The Lord I thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil; He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even forever more.
