As you move on, toward the upward call, I want you to be mindful of pressing through when you begin to feel the burn in your faith muscles. So many times you look for an escape, something to distract you from the burn, but the burn is necessary for you to grow. When you press through, you realize that it no longer hurts and you become strong and able to advance to the next level of glory. I have you on the path of life where there is fullness of joy. I am your escape. I am your ability to continue. Set your mind on the things above. Make it your goal to know Me and the power of My resurrection. Seek My glory; for I will supply all of your needs out of My riches in glory in Christ Jesus. The pain is passing and only lasts for a moment, but My Glory is forever. ~God

Philippians 3:10-11 My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, assuming that I will somehow reach the resurrection from among the dead.

Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

I know that you have a deep hurt inside that you doubt I can heal. You doubt Me, so you hold your hurt and manage it. You have managed it for years. In your managing, you try to convince yourself that you want less than you really do, so that you won’t be disappointed anymore. As you settle for less, you reach for harmful things to fill the longing you have. Here you are today, weary and fearful, because the hurt you thought you had managed to kill has reappeared, again. I am here. Bring your hurt to Me. I want you to seek Me with all your heart, so bring Me your unbelief as well. I am able to satisfy your soul! As you forsake your methods and your efforts to get Me to give you what you want, and instead, just trust Me, I will reveal Myself to you and you will see your satisfaction. ~Jesus

Father, I ask you to forgive me. I’ve come so many times asking You to give me things that never satisfy. I ask You to forgive me for grasping in unbelief instead of turning and bowing at Your feet. Help me to believe. Help me to receive. Help me to see You. I open my heart wide today. I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!

Psalm 81:10 I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.

Psalm 81:16 But you will be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the rock I will satisfy you.

Mark 9:24 I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief.

Psalm 34:8 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.

Do you trust Me? Will you sit at My feet and wait while I meet your needs? Will you allow your faith to feel My presence and be satisfied? You have set your heart on many things to make you happy. You ask Me to come through for you and when I ask you to wait and receive Me instead, you become angry and frustrated. You are like a child who wants his friends more than his Mother. I have these things planned for your future but I wanted this time for you to know that I Am. I Am your Husband, your Friend, your Mother and Father. I Am your Purpose and Position. I Am your Portion and I Am your Prince of Peace. When you know that I Am you will also know that you are. In this knowing you will be brought to the place to receive My Kingdom. So I say to you today: Be still and know that I am God.

Romans 8:31 If God is for us, who is against us? He did not even spare His own Son, but offered Him up for us all; how will He not also with Him grant us everything?

Matthew 3:2 “Repent, because the kingdom of heaven has come near!”

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, height or depth, or any other created thing will have power to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord!

You have been like a city that was broken into and without walls. I am teaching you to control your spirit. I am training you as a warrior and calling you to stand up and come into me. I have spread my robe out and over you. I am rebuilding you, finishing your walls, and repairing your foundations. You are becoming a walled city; a citadel where you will dwell in safety . Today I issue a decree as your King: The things stolen from you, the gold and silver of the temple, are to be returned and put back into you where they belong! I am releasing over you a spirit of joy. It comes as a radiant, yellow banner that speaks of new life and summer sunshine, for the joy of the Lord will be your strength.

Jeremiah 30:18 This is what the Lord says: I will certainly restore the fortunes of your tents and show compassion on your dwellings. Every city will be rebuilt on its mound; every citadel will stand on its proper site. 

Citadel:  1. a fortress that commands a city and is used in the control of the inhabitants and defense during attack or siege. 2. any strongly fortified place; a stronghold.
