I have for you freedom. I see you in clothes of light, barefoot on a grassy knoll, with your hair flying wildly behind you. You will come to know that it is no longer you who live, but that I live in you. I have for you to be delivered. I have for you to know that the life you live in the body, that you live it by faith in Me, for I gave Myself for you. There is a great power within your tears, for as they are shed, I will cause them to cleanse your affections from the clingy cares of the world. I have asked you to set your mind on things above not on things of the earth. I know how difficult this is in your strength, but greater am I in you, than he who is in the world. I desire for you to sit before Me with your palms held up in willingness. I will take care of the rest. ~Jesus

Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Cain approached Me, with the offering of what his hands had toiled from the ground, but Able came to Me with what I had provided, recognizing that his sin needed to be forgiven. I am calling you to do as Able, not to strive and take pride in what your hands have built but to accept what I have offered in the sacrifice of My Son. You have been applauded for your works since childhood and you now feel frantic if you aren’t receiving the praise of men. But I have come to set you free and am placing you in a spacious place without those boundaries. I am bringing you into a place of rest where you can see that I have provided all that you need.  Your striving and toil grieve Me, because by them you say that you don’t believe Me. I want you to bring Me an offering of belief not one of fear, knowing that everything that does not come from faith is sin. I want you to recognize that you are unable and cease striving and to come to Me, asking forgiveness and receive the sacrifice of My Son. For I loved you so much that I gave Him to pay for your sins so that you can believe and have everlasting life. ~God
