I know that you have a deep hurt inside that you doubt I can heal. You doubt Me, so you hold your hurt and manage it. You have managed it for years.  In your managing, you try to convince yourself that you want less than you really do, so that you won’t be disappointed anymore. As you settle for less, you reach for harmful things to fill the longing you have. Here you are today, weary and fearful, because the hurt you thought you had managed to kill has reappeared, again. I am here. Bring your hurt to Me. I want you to seek Me with all your heart, so bring Me your unbelief as well. I am able to satisfy your soul!  As you forsake your methods and your efforts to get Me to give you what you want, and instead, just trust Me, I will reveal Myself to you and you will see your satisfaction. ~Jesus

Father, I ask you to forgive me. I’ve come so many times asking You to give me things that never satisfy. I ask You to forgive me for grasping in unbelief instead of turning and bowing at Your feet. Help me to believe. Help me to receive. Help me to see You. I open my heart wide today. I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!

Psalm 81:10 I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.

Psalm 81:16 But you will be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the rock I will satisfy you.

Mark 9:24 I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief.

Psalm 34:8 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.

6-5-13 (2 of 7)I want you to turn away from what you can do for Me. I want you to turn to the understanding that I Am! I know you think that you know what’s best for you, and you fear surrendering to Me. You want to know and to understand, but, your rest comes from TRUSTING ME, even when you don’t know or understand. I know that those in your past, who were supposed to be FOR you, have disappointed you, but I am not those people. I am Your Creator. Your Heavenly Father. I know you are tired of waiting and have grown weary in the process. I am calling you today to be careful for nothing, but to bring your requests to Me, to trust Me with them.  As you give Me your requests, I will give you peace that passes understanding. I am asking you to believe that I know what is best for you. I am the Maker of miracles and I allow you to see them only when you realize that it is not you making them. For you are human and I am supernatural. Be still and know that I am God.

Hebrews 10:35,36 Cast not away, therefore, your confidence, which hath great reward. For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise.

Philippians 4:6,7 Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Titus 3:5,6 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost: Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our savior.

Cain approached Me, with the offering of what his hands had toiled from the ground, but Able came to Me with what I had provided, recognizing that his sin needed to be forgiven. I am calling you to do as Able, not to strive and take pride in what your hands have built but to accept what I have offered in the sacrifice of My Son. You have been applauded for your works since childhood and you now feel frantic if you aren’t receiving the praise of men. But I have come to set you free and am placing you in a spacious place without those boundaries. I am bringing you into a place of rest where you can see that I have provided all that you need.  Your striving and toil grieve Me, because by them you say that you don’t believe Me. I want you to bring Me an offering of belief not one of fear, knowing that everything that does not come from faith is sin. I want you to recognize that you are unable and cease striving and to come to Me, asking forgiveness and receive the sacrifice of My Son. For I loved you so much that I gave Him to pay for your sins so that you can believe and have everlasting life. ~God

Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

Romans 14:23 and everything that does not come from faith is sin.

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Hebrews 9:14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
