I saw myself praying and asking for treasure and prosperity. As I prayed I was taken to a narrow room. It was deep but not very wide, almost like a tunnel. It was filled with golden treasure, coins and pleasure. I was alone in the room, with everything I had wanted. As I turned over the coins an immense understanding filled me of how utterly meaningless this treasure was. It was as if it had become sand in my hands. I began to despair and I looked back out into the hallway and Jesus was watching me. My heart knew Him and I ran into His arms and wrapped my full grown legs around His waist and clung to Him. He is treasure. He said “to the one who has, will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever dies not have, even what they have will be taken from them. You have chosen what is better and it will not be taken from you.”

There is a small door in your mind that I want you to see and walk through. This door is your belief that I am the One who created the winds and the sea. This door is belief that I have a future of plans that are good for you. I know your circumstances are pressing you tightly and you don’t see a way out of them, but I am calling you to hope in the midst of them. Your citizenship is in Heaven and your time on earth is but a breath. Hope is a powerful force. Your Deliverer is standing by.
2 Chronicles 20:17 tlb But you will not need to fight! Take your places; stand quietly and see the incredible rescue operation the Lord will perform for you. Don’t be afraid or discouraged! Go out there tomorrow, for the Lord is with you.
